The Leverhulme Trust is accepting fellowship applications from students in the humanities and social sciences who are employed in university or other institution of higher education in the UK for major research fellowship in the humanities and social sciences. The major purpose of the fellowship program is to allow academics to focus on a specific piece of original research by providing replacement teaching costs over two or three years.
Those who are or have been prevented by routine duties from completing a program of original research are the special targets of the program. Maximum request for expenses can be up to £5,000 per annum.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Applicants must be employed by a university or other institution of higher education in the UK.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate scholarship at the highest level, but they need not already be of professorial standing.
Applicant must select three referees outside of their own institution in the online application form who will be contacted to write reference letters on behalf of the applicant.
