European Commission is seeking proposals from organisations for its Programme under the topic of Sustainable Management of Water Resources in Rural Areas in the Republic of Uzbekistan to promote the awareness about the importance of water saving, water conservation and environmental protection.
The global objective of this call for proposals is to contribute to sustainable and inclusive growth in the rural sector in Uzbekistan in the context of a changing climate.
Size of Grants
Any grant requested under this call for proposals must fall between the following minimum and maximum amounts:
- Minimum amount: EUR 1.800.000
- Maximum amount: EUR 2.000.000
Eligibility Criteria
- In order to be eligible for a grant, the lead applicant must:
- be a legal person and
- be non-profit-making and
- be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, public sector operator, local authority, international (inter-governmental) organisation
- be established in a Member State of the European Union or the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- be directly responsible for the preparation and management of the action with the coapplicant(s) and affiliated entity(ies), not acting as an intermediary
- The lead applicant must act with co-applicant(s) as specified hereafter.
- The lead applicant established in Uzbekistan may act individually or with co-applicant(s). Where the lead applicant is an International organisation or an organisation from one of the EU Member States, they must act together with at least one co-applicant established in Uzbekistan.
- Co-applicants participate in designing and implementing the action, and the costs they incur are eligible in the same way as those incurred by the lead applicant.
- Co-applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria as applicable to the lead applicant
