France Calls for Projects from NGOs for COP 21 climate Generations areas

Last date : August 10, 2015

The French Government has announced a call for projects from NGOs worldwide to give them an opportunity to feature on the agenda of the climate Generations areas which will be located next to the Paris-Le Bourget venue which is hosting the 21st Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21/SMP11).

The General Secretariat for the preparation and organization of COP21/CMP11 will focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for zero waste and recycling the materials used for the various structures.

Set up by the General Secretariat for the preparation and organization of COP21/CMP11, this digital platform is the tool supporting the call for projects aimed at civil society representatives. Its role is to gather the projects that will feature on the agenda of the climate Generations areas.

This platform allows you to submit:

  • a stand reservation request;
  • an event proposal;
  • an exhibition proposal.

This platform is open to all civil society organizations involved in the fight against climate change, until 10 August 2015. Selection criteria are indicated for each kind of event. In the case of a proposal involving more than one organization, we recommend that you submit no more than one proposal per event.
The submission deadline is 10 August 2015, midnight GMT.
Once all proposals have been evaluated, all applicants will receive an answer by the end of the first week of September 2015. If your proposal is selected, you will need to send confirmation upon receipt of the notification. If you do not confirm within 72 hours, another proposal will be selected.
