The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is seeking proposals for the Rural YouthDevelopment program. The program aims to provide an outlet for youth to learn new agricultural techniques that are suitable to their environments which will enable them to increase ties to their communities and gain leadership skills.
The project will provide boys and girls ages 10-19 with opportunities for leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
Award Information
- Award amount – The award Floor is set at $1,750,000. The award ceiling is set at $ 2,000,000. The Option period award Floor is set at $ 800,000. The Option period award ceiling is set at $1,000,000.
- Award period – 24 months
- Number of award – 1
Eligibility Information
- Eligible applicants include individuals as well as government entities.
- Organizations may sub-contract with other entities, but only one entity can be the prime recipient of the award.
