This is a Gift-in-Kind Grant Only, No Money Given
Vitamin Angels is a US based non-profit organization which provides free annual grants of vitamin A and multivitamins for qualifying NGOs which are helping under-served children 6-59 months in countries with high rates of vitamin deficiency.
The goal of the organization is support local NGOs in advancing access, availability and use of essential micronutrients to mothers and children who are not receiving these vitamins from other sources. In 2014, Vitamin Angels was able to reach 35 million children with lifesaving vitamin A and Albendazole through our network of 500+ NGO partners in Africa, Latin America, and Asia.
All locally registered NGOs in Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Middle East which support children under 5 and pregnant or breastfeeding mothers in under-served communities are invited to apply an annual vitamin grant. Organizations can apply to receive free Vitamin A Supplements for children 6-59 months of age, Albendazole for children 12-59 months of age and daily multivitamins for pregnant and breastfeeding women. The grant does not include any money.
Organizations which have their application accepted will receive free vitamins, assistance in shipping vitamins to the countries main port of entry, educational materials, and the opportunity to attend upcoming VAS & Deworming workshops in the region.
