Jacobs Foundation Call for the Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize Nominations 2014

Jacobs Foundation is inviting nominations from leading institutions and experts in research on children and youth worldwide to nominate candidates for the Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize 2014. The major goal of the Prize is to award outstanding scientific contributions of individuals from all disciplines aiming at the improvement of young people’s development and perspectives worldwide.

The prize amount is of 1 Mio. Swiss Francs among which 90% goes to research project and 10% goes to travel, networking, and dissemination.

Eligibility :

  • Scholars from all countries who have achieved major breakthroughs in understanding child and youth development and at the same time have the potential to advance the field by actively conducting research can be nominated by institution/individual.
  • Self-nomination is not accepted.

Complete nomination includes a completed nomination form, 1-2 page appraisal of the academic accomplishment, full list of publications, information regarding possible future academic plans, fields of interest, and aspirations of the nominee, and curriculum vitae. Completed nomination form and related documents must be sent via email before deadline.
